Niqole Riding | Owner/Artistic Director
Since founding Sorella Dance Company in 2007, Niqole has dedicated her career to nurturing and inspiring the next generation of dancers. With a passion for dance that ignited long before high school, she began teaching as a Freshman and has since made teaching her life’s work
Niqole’s journey in dance began at the age of 3, like most little ballerinas, but formal training began at the age of 8 at the Utah Dance Academy in Orem, Utah. Her commitment to progress saw her traveling two days a week for training, eventually increasing to five days a week. Further opportunities took her to LA’s Underground Dance Conventions all over the west coast, the Performing Arts Center, and the Millennium Dance Complex in California. In High School Niqole was a Cheerleader and Tridel all while starting her teaching journey.
Her extensive experience includes roles as a member of the Rebelette dance team at Dixie State College 2004-2006, as an Instructor for UDA and Summer Slam Dance Camps, and as a Principal Dancer for ProStreet in St. George, Utah, performing at the Tuacahn Amphitheatre. Niqole holds an Associate of Arts Degree and has earned numerous prestigious soloist awards throughout her dancing career.
In addition to her studio work, Niqole currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the High School Drill Team, where she continues to impact young dancers and contribute to their growth and success.
With a blend of formal training and real-world experience, Niqole continues to influence the dance world through her studio and coaching, mentoring aspiring dancers and fostering a vibrant dance community.
